What is Nilotinib?

Nilotinib (brand name: Tasigna) is a prescription medication used to treat certain types of blood cancers, including:

  • Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in adults and children with Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+ CML)

Nilotinib is a type of targeted therapy known as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). It works by blocking specific proteins in cancer cells, slowing their growth or causing them to die.

How to Take Nilotinib

  4. Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, skip it and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not double up.
